The Federal Police Command announces the arrest of 11 defendants in Baghdad

The Federal Police Command announced on, Wednesday, the arrest of 11 defendants in accordance with various legal provisions and the seizure of unlicensed weapons in Baghdad.

The command said in statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the detachments of the 5th Division Federal Police arrested 13 defendants, including a woman, with various legal materials (theft, altercation, threat, shooting, violation) with the seizure of 2 Kalashnikov rifles”.

The statement added that "the operations were carried out following the execution of arrest warrant duties and security practices within the responsibility sections in the areas of ( Al-Shaab, Sadr City, Rashidiya, Hamidiya ) in the Rusafa side of Baghdad, and the accused were referred with the originally seized materials to the competent authorities”.
