JOC : destruction of terrorist dens by a security operation in Nineveh

The Joint Operations Command JOC announced on, Tuesday, the destruction of a number of terrorist dens during security operations in Nineveh province.
 
The Operations Command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) that "Through coordination and mutual cooperation and to unify the security effort to achieve the goals set by the Joint Operations Command, Joint Forces from the western Nineveh Operations Command and the Peshmerga forces launched a security operation on Tuesday morning in the field presence of military commands to clear areas of common interest between the federal forces and the guards of the Kurdistan region of Iraq to pursue the remaining elements of the terrorist gangs ISIS".
 
The statement added that "the operation, which came with accurate intelligence information, resulted in the destruction of a number of terrorist dens and the finding of a number of explosive devices and a set of weapons where they were destroyed".

The statement added that "the Joint Security and intelligence work and in many military operations have had high-level positive results in pursuing the defeated terrorist elements and destroying their dens".

"This operation comes to strengthen security and stability in the areas of common interest, close gaps and prevent terrorist elements from gaining a foothold in these important areas “, the statement said.
