The Qatari artist, Hamad Al-Rumaihi, is preparing to present the play “Ahmed Bin Majid” in Baghdad, as part of the activities of the Arab Theater Authority Festival, which will be held in Iraq on February 24, 2024.
Al-Rumaihi said to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The play is a gift from Qatar to Iraq, and deals with the life of the Sufi writer Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi, and the events revolve around the body of Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi, which cannot be buried in any land other than Baghdad, so the people gather to burn the body and scatter its ashes in In the wind, they would be surprised by the flight of colorful birds from the ashes.”
