Iraqi National Security Service INSS announced, on Friday, arresting an impostor assumed more than a false identity after blackmailing a student for 30 million.

"based on a complaint filed by one of the students in the province of Babylon about someone swindling her with a financial amount of (30) million Iraqi dinars in exchange for changing her exam grades, claiming once that he works in the Ministry of education and another by his affiliation to the Parliament,” said an INSS statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

It added that "INSS detachments, after obtaining judicial approvals, began investigating and following up on the details of the case and tracking down the said accused, after which he was arrested and confronted with evidentiary evidence, and he openly admitted to receiving the said amount from the victim in the form of payments.

"He has been referred to the legal authorities to receive his fair punishment," the statement added.
