Emergency meeting of the Arab Journalists Union, tomorrow

The General Union of Arab Journalists announced on Saturday, upon an emergency meeting of the General Secretariat regarding the situation in Gaza.

“The Union will hold an emergency meeting headed by Muayyad Al-Lami, President of the Union, tomorrow's Sunday, at 15:00 in the Union’s headquarters, Cairo," said the Secretary General of the Union of Arab Journalists, Khalid Miri, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The meeting will be attended by members of the General Secretariat of the Union, in addition to the head of the Palestinians Journalists’ Syndicate and the head of the Egyptian Journalists Syndicate.

The statement included, "The meeting will discuss the barbaric assault on Gaza and Palestine by the hands of the brutal Zionist occupation, the daily crimes of the occupation forces by killing and targeting children, women, the elderly, and journalists, as well as the blatant bias of the Western media in favor of Zionist crimes."
