Launching new security operation to purge the urban desert south west of Nineveh: PMF

The Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF announced on Wednesday, the launch of a security operation to purge the urban desert south west of Nineveh.
 
PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency- INA that " Nineveh Operations Command units at the Popular Mobilization Forces represented by the operations, intelligence and media departments, PMF support directorates and the two brigades 44, 60 began at dawn today to carry out a 3-pronoged large-scale security operation to track down terrorist cells and raid and search a number of areas and villages located in the urban desert southwest of Nineveh Governorate”.


The statement added that "the operation witnessed the participation of heroes of the Iraqi army".
