Iraq participates in a global conference in Australia and shares its experience in entrepreneurial business

    Iraq participated in the international entrepreneurship conference held in the Australian city of Melbourne alongside 200 Arab and foreign countries, while the head of the Iraqi delegation, advisor to the Prime Minister, Hussein Flamers Taher, conveyed Iraq’s experience in entrepreneurial business.

    The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “The conference is attended by a number of owners of institutions, small and medium-sized companies, and emerging companies from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the city of Melbourne, Australia, during the period from 19 to 22 September.”.

    Our correspondent added, "The conference is the largest gathering of male and female entrepreneurs around the world. It includes specialized sessions in entrepreneurship, and hosts institutions supporting the sector, policy makers, strategic experts, researchers, and economists.".

    He pointed out that "Iraq participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Conference, and the Iraqi delegation participating in this conference was headed by Hussein Flamers Taher, Advisor to the Prime Minister, conveying Iraq's experience in entrepreneurial business."

    He stressed that "this participation is considered the first of its kind for the Gulf countries as a single economic bloc, and opens the way for the Gulf entrepreneurship system towards renewed cooperative horizons.".

    It is noteworthy that the conference is attended by 4,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises, and startup companies from 200 countries around the world.
