5 accused of terrorism and organ trafficking arrested in Baghdad and Maysan: DGIS

The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security DGIS of the Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday. the arrest of 5 wanted on charges of terrorism and trafficking in human organs in Baghdad and Maysan.
 
A statement by DGIS received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "the detachments of the Directorate of Intelligence and Security of Maysan affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security of the Ministry of Defense, were able to arrest three wanted persons in accordance with the provisions of Articles (4 / terrorism and 431), through their presence in the district of Kumait in Maysan province."

The statement added that "during the continuous work to follow up on organized crime gangs and retribution from them, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate of the same directorate were able to arrest two felons red-handed in the Saidiya area of Baghdad for carrying out the process of trafficking in human organs," noting that "they were referred to the competent authorities."
