A terrorist and drug dealers arrested in two governorates, DGIS announces

The Directorate General of Intelligence and Security-DGIS at the Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday, the arrest of a terrorist and drug dealers in two governorates.
 
“Based on accurate intelligence information, the detachments of Sulaymaniyah Intelligence and Security Directorate at DGIS and in coordination with Sulaymaniyah Asayish Directorate managed to arrest one of those wanted by the judiciary on terrorism charges in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) Anti-Terrorism Law,” stated DGIS in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
“The Detachments of the Diwaniyah Intelligence and Security Directorate, affiliated with DGIS, were able to arrest two drug dealers in the city of Diwaniyah, as they were found in possession of narcotic substances, drug paraphernalia, and a pistol,” the statement added.
 
“The seized items were confiscated and they were arrested in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) of combating drugs law, " the statement continued.
