Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani confirmed today, Wednesday that all the state's capabilities were employed to receive the Arbaeen visitors, and while the number of visitors participating in the Arbaeen visit this year is unprecedented, he indicated that the visit plan continues.
The Prime Minister said in a press conference held in the holy city of Karbala, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "May God increase the rewards of the participants in the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, as words fail to describe the Husseinian epic," stressing "the commitment of the government and its civil and security agencies to facilitate all services during the Arbaeen visit.”
He added, "All the capabilities of the state were employed to provide the appropriate atmosphere to receive millions of visitors," noting that "the Iraqi people were distinguished by their adoration for Imam Hussein."
Prime Minister appreciated "the great role played by the state and its institutions in Arbaeen visit," and thanked "the Council of Ministers, especially the Ministers of Electricity, Health, and the oil, transport, and trade undersecretaries who were present on behalf of the ministers."
"The security services provided a continuous service that was not limited to the security aspect, as it monitored every small and large matter in a way that provides security for which the enemies are lurking," explaining, "We follow the smallest details and did not neglect any information." Al-Sudani said.
Prime Minister presented "thanks to the security forces and the heroes of the Popular Mobilization Authority who made a lot of giving, effort and service," pointing out that "the Popular Mobilization Authority presented for the first time an integrated plan, starting from the ports to reach the holy city of Karbala."
