Interior minister arrives in Karbala

Interior minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari arrived on Thursday in the Holy province of Karbala.

A statement by the Ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "the minister of interior, the head of the Supreme Security Committee to secure the Pilgrimage of Arbaeen, Abdul Amir al-Shammari arrived in the Holy province of Karbala".

The statement added that "the visit came to supervise and follow up the progress of the plan of this eternal Pilgrimage".
