Al-Sudani Unveils Central Baghdad's Grand Tourist Complex Project

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani announced the launch of the project of building a large tourist complex in central Baghdad, which includes a hotel and a residential complex.

The Prime Minister placed the inaugural cornerstone for the project to be executed by Estithmar Holding Q.P.S.C., marking Qatar's first investment endeavor and initiatives in Iraq. This step aligns with the government's vision to bolster investment prospects, foster economic synergy, and cultivate an investment climate that attracts Arab and international companies to partake in Iraq's infrastructure ventures.

During his address at the cornerstone laying event, the Prime Minister warmly welcomed the brothers from the State of Qatar and commended their proactive and resolute approach in carrying out this inaugural collaboration between Iraq and Qatar.

PM also expressed gratitude towards the government team, which includes the Mayor of Baghdad, the Chairman of the Investment Commission, the Prime Minister's Chief of Staff, and the advisors who efficiently facilitated the land allocation and investment license issuance within a remarkably short time.
