The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced today, Friday, that it will host tomorrow, Saturday, a meeting of national security advisors and representatives of a number of countries regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
According to the official agency (SPA), followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting a meeting of national security advisors and representatives of a number of countries regarding the Ukrainian crisis in the city of Jeddah, tomorrow, Saturday."
According to the official agency, "hosting this meeting is a continuation of the humanitarian initiatives and efforts made in this regard by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the contacts he made with the Russian and Ukrainian leaderships since the early days of the crisis.".
SPA added, "Bin Salman expressed the Kingdom's readiness to make its good offices to contribute to reaching a solution that leads to lasting peace, and its support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of the crisis and its humanitarian repercussions.".
SPA also pointed out that "the Kingdom's government looks forward to this meeting contributing to enhancing dialogue and cooperation through exchanging views, coordination and discussion at the international level on ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis through diplomatic and political means, in a way that enhances international peace and security, and spares the world further humanitarian, security and economic repercussions of the crisis." .
