The Parliament hosts Oil Minister to discuss several files, including Iraq-Iran gas-for-oil barter

The Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee hosted today, Thursday, Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani to discuss several files, including bartering Iranian gas for crude oil.
 
"The Parliamentary Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee hosted the Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul-Ghani, and the deputies of extraction and gas at Oil Ministry, to discuss the recent agreement between Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran to exchange imported Iranian gas for Iraqi crude oil and black oil," said the reporter of The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
He added, "The meeting will also discuss the agreement between Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan regarding the export of crude oil at a subsidized price, the crude oil exported to the Lebanese Republic and the Syrian Arab Republic as aid, and the investment of free and associated gas and the pipeline for transporting crude oil in Basra Haditha Aqaba, as well as other matters."
