The Saudi Press Agency - SPA on Wednesday, that a gunman was killed after an exchange of fire with the security authorities in front of the US Consulate in Jeddah.
The media spokesman for Makkah Al-Mukarramah Police stated that at 6:45 pm on Wednesday, corresponding to Dhul-Hijjah 10 1444 AH, a person in a car stopped near the American Consulate building in Jeddah Governorate and got out of it carrying a firearm in his hand, so the concerned security authorities took the initiative to deal with him as required position, and the exchange of fire resulted in his death.
