President Rashid congratulates the press family on the anniversary of Press Day

President Abdellatif Jamal Rashid congratulated on Friday the press family on the anniversary of Press Day.
The President of the Republic said in a tweet followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We congratulate the press family on the anniversary of Press Day, and we remember with pride journalists who sacrificed in defense of the rights of the people."
“We support the role of free and independent national media to promote the people’s right to democracy, freedoms and peace,” he added.
