Al-Mandalawi: fatwa of the Kafai jihad constitutes an important point in the contemporary history of Iraq

First Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, affirmed on Monday that the fatwa of the Kafai jihad” constitutes an important point in the contemporary history of Iraq, while indicating that it is a message to the Iraqi people of the need to unite.
 
Al-Mandalawi said in a speech delivered on his behalf by the director of his office, Nazem Al-Saadi, during the central celebration held by parliament on the anniversary of the fatwa of the Kafai jihad, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “We remember today, and we are all proud, proud and proud of the anniversary of the heroic resistance and the anniversary of fatwa of the Kafai jihad launched by His Eminence the Supreme Reference Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani, may God protect him, to confront the darkness of ISIS, which has engulfed a part of our beloved homeland.
 
He added, "The fatwa under which the youth of Iraq launched, responding to the call of the friendly homeland, the call of honor, sacrifice, and sincerity, to defend their land, their sanctities, and their people," noting that "that battle was fateful in which the Iraqis sacrificed precious and precious things in order to repel the barbaric terrorist attack." ISIS and Iraq wrote the most wonderful pictures of heroism, sacrifice and redemption, so it was an immortal victory painting that the history of heroism and humanity did not forget, and they proved in it to break the enemies’ plots, thwart their plans, and the Iraqis consolidate their belonging to their homeland.
 
Al-Mandalawi stressed that "this fatwa constitutes an important turning point in the contemporary history of Iraq and in confronting terrorism and extremism in the region.
 
He continued, "The fatwa of the competent jihad is a message to the Iraqi people of the need to unite," stressing that "the fatwa is a strong message to the international community to combat extremist ideas."
