The Ministry of Transport announced that the General Company for Air Navigation Services will resume its work at Basra International Airport, after flights were temporarily halted due to a technical defect.
The media office of the Ministry of Transport stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Iraqi air navigation has resumed its work at Basra International Airport, after addressing the technical defect that affected the navigation radar at the airport."
The statement added, "The ministry mobilized all engineering and technical cadres in the General Company for Air Navigation Services, in order to fix the defect and resume flights to and from Basra International Airport."
