Interior Minister arrives in Tehran

Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari arrived on Wednesday in the Iranian capital Tehran.
 
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari arrived this morning, in Tehran at the head of a security delegation that included the commander of the border forces, the director of drug control and the director of civil status, passports and residence, " indicating that "Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi and a number of security and military leaders in the Islamic Republic of Iran received the delegation."
 
The ministry added that "the delegation will hold important talks with the Iranian side related to the security of the common border between the two countries, the fight against drugs, issues related to residence and entry visas between citizens of the two countries."
