The Iraqi Media Networks and Eye for Monitoring Elections agree to launch awareness campaigns

 Ain Network for Monitoring Elections and Democracy announced today, Tuesday, joint cooperation with the Iraqi Media Network regarding the upcoming provincial council elections.
 
The head of the Ain Network for Monitoring Elections and Democracy, Saad Al-Battat, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Iraqi Media Network agreed with the Ain Network for Monitoring Elections and Democracy for joint cooperation during the coming period," noting that "the agreement included the implementation of awareness campaigns to increase the percentage of participation in the upcoming provinces elections."
 
He pointed out that "the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassim, expressed his full cooperation, and it was agreed to develop a memorandum of understanding between the Iraqi Media Network and the Ain Network in order to launch a joint awareness campaign," pointing out that "the media and civil society are two basic partners of the Independent High Electoral Commission, and in protecting democracy in Iraq.
