A high-ranking security delegation arrived Saturday at Kirkuk Operations Command to oversee the security situation in the Governorate.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense-MOD, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "A High-ranking security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Yarallah, the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, the Commander of the Ground Forces and the Director of Military Intelligence, arrived at Kirkuk Operations Command."
"The visit aims to oversee the security situation and the latest pre-emptive operations targeting remnants of terrorism, as well as the plan for the deployment of military and security forces in Kirkuk Governorate," the statement continued.
