Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shimmari praised the bilateral relations between Iraq and Jordan in various fields.
Al-Shimmari received his Jordanian counterpart, Mazin Abdullah Hilal Al-Faraya, at Baghdad International Airport, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The minister welcomed his guest "in his second country, Iraq," praising "the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields, especially the depth of interdependence between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Iraqi Republic."
In turn, the Jordanian Minister of Interior expressed his thanks and appreciation for the kind reception and welcome.
