Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas praised today, Friday, the firm positions of Arab leaders towards the Palestinian cause.
Abbas said during his speech at the Arab summit in Jeddah, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We commend the positions of the Arab leaders for the role they played in fairness to the Palestinian cause," calling on "the international community to hold the Zionist entity accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people," stressing "resort to all International courts to restore Palestinian rights.
He demanded "international protection for the Palestinian people from the crimes committed against them by the occupation forces," welcoming "the Syrian president's attendance at the Arab summit."
