Iraq won two gold medals, (5) silver medals and (6) bronze medals in the Arab Cup Open Championship for all styles of martial arts, which was held in Lebanon, with the participation of (13) Iraqi players out of a total of 100 players representing different countries.
"This tournament, which is being held for the first time in Lebanon, is a strong tournament and qualifies for the Asian Cup and the World Cup, which will also be held in Lebanon," said the representative of the Japanese International Federation of Kyokushinkai in Iraq, Shihan Ali Nasser, in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Iraq participated in the Arab Cup Open Championship for all martial arts styles, which was held at the Fouad Shihab Sports Complex in Jounieh, with (13) players, out of a total of 100 participating players from several countries.
