The Council of National Security undersecretaries approved today, Tuesday, the conclusion of a number of memorandums of understanding between the Ministry of Justice and its Egyptian and Saudi counterparts.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Council of National Security undersecretaries held, today, the seventh session of 2023, headed by National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji, with the presence of the members of the Council," noting that "the listed topics were discussed, on its agenda and made the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.
According to the statement "The Council also discussed the issue of (establishing laboratories for testing dangerous chemical and biological materials at the border crossings), and directed to assign the National Center for Joint Planning, in coordination with all relevant authorities, to prepare a comprehensive and integrated study on the subject and present it again to the Council, to take the necessary action in this regard."
"The council agreed to conclude a number of memorandums of understanding between the Iraqi Ministry of Justice and the ministries of justice in each of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Republic of Egypt."
