The President of the Republic congratulates Newroz holiday

President Abdul Latif Rashid congratulated today, Monday, on the occasion of Newroz and the beginning of the Kurdish year.
Abdul Latif said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "On the occasion of Newroz and the beginning of the Kurdish year, I warmly congratulate the people of Kurdistan and all Iraqis, and I wish peace and security for all."
He added, "The Newroz holiday is a message of renewal of life, unity and tolerance, and we hope that Newroz and spring season will enhance stability, security, harmony, peaceful coexistence, tolerance and acceptance of the other in order to serve citizens and protect gains."
The President concluded by saying: "Once again, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and good days."
