Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani affirmed adherence to cultural wealth and archaeological identity.
Al-Sudani said in a tweet on Twitter, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "In the centenary of the Iraqi Museum, we adhere to our cultural wealth and archaeological identity inherited from our ancestors through thousands of years of Mesopotamian civilization."
He added, "The antiquities, caring for them, and restoring what was lost from them represent a task for us that we will never delay," noting that "the development of museums is the title of our effort in order to make Iraq's civilization shine through the eyes of all generations."
