Al-Halbousi chairs the meeting of the Arab Group of the Arab Parliamentary Union

President of the Union of Arab Parliament Speaker of Parliament Muhammad al-Halbousi chaired today, Friday, the meeting of the Union's Arab group. 

The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Arab Parliament Union, Speaker of Parliament Muhammad al-Halbousi chaired the meeting of the Arab Group of the Union, on the sidelines of the work of the 146th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.".

Today, Friday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi headed to Bahrain.

The media office of the Speaker of Parliament stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi went today to Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain.".

He added, "The visit came to participate in the work of the 146th General Assembly meetings, and the 211th session of the Governing Council of the Inter-Parliamentary Union."
