Al-Sudani arrives in Cairo on an official visit

 Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani arrived on Sunday, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on an official visit, while his office confirmed that al-Sudani will hold official discussions on a number of files.

 The media office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "an official reception ceremony took place at Cairo International Airport for Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani, who is visiting Egypt on an official visit that lasts several hours."

 The statement added, "The Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mustafa Madbouly, was at the head of the reception," noting that "the ceremony witnessed the playing of the national anthems of both countries, and the parade of the guard of honor."

 The office indicated that, "During the visit, Al-Sudani will hold official talks with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, and senior Egyptian officials, dealing with a number of common files between the two sides."
