Minister of Interior , the head of the Military Industrialization Authority discuss ways of joint cooperation

    Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari and Head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Mustafa Ati Hassan, discussed on Thursday, ways of joint cooperation.

    The media office of the head of the Military Industrialization Authority stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the head of the Military Industrialization Authority, Mustafa Ati Hassan, met with the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and discussed with him a number of issues of common interest, foremost of which is supplying the joints of the Ministry of Interior and its formations with weapons and equipment."
    The head of the Military Industrialization Authority affirmed, "The efficiency of the products of the Military Industrialization companies, such as light, medium and heavy weapons and their equipment, which have undergone various trials and tests that have proven their efficiency and field effectiveness, in addition to being manufactured according to the specifications and standards of reputable international companies."

    For his part, the Minister of the Interior expressed his support for the Military Industrialization Authority and his encouragement of its products by equipping the security forces of the Ministry of Interior with weapons and materiel produced by the Military Industrialization Authority for use in facing various security and terrorist challenges, primarily the remnants of terrorist gangs and organized crime gangs."

    The Chairman of the Commission thanked the Minister of the Interior for the "warm reception and for the understanding and willingness he showed for fruitful cooperation in supporting the products of the Military Industrialization Authority," calling on "other concerned institutions to take similar positions in supporting the Authority's products and encouraging national military industries in a way that contributes to supporting the state and enhancing its security and military capabilities and economic."
