The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority announced today, Tuesday that the death toll from the earthquake in the south of the country has risen to 35,418.
As well as, announced the evacuation of about 196,000 people affected by the earthquake from the afflicted states, and that 35,249 Turkish and foreign rescue men are working in the afflicted areas.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority indicated that the number of search and rescue teams coming from other countries reached 9,456, and pointed out that the total number of workers in the earthquake zone, from various official and unofficial institutions and agencies, amounted to 249,89 people.
