Iraqi search and rescue team recovers two bodies from Kermanmaraş, Türkiye

Iraqi Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed on Friday, that the specialized teams in the field of search and rescue managed to recover two bodies from Kermanmaraş in Turkey.
 
The Directorate said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The specialized civil defense teams in the field of search and rescue recovered two bodies of a man and a woman buried under tons of the collapsed buildings rubble in Kermanmaraş region in Turkey, after a devastating earthquake struck the area recently."
 
The directorate also noted that "The Iraqi international team arrived by air with full equipment to Turkey last Wednesday evening to join the international teams participating in search and rescue operations in the affected areas despite the continuation of earthquakes in the region, the last of which was of a magnitude of 4.3 in the same area in which the Iraqi team operates, the meticulous search and rescue work did not stop for the victims in the stricken area..
