Kirkuk Governorate announced today, Saturday, the approval of compensation for 500 families whose homes were destroyed during the war against the terrorist gangs of ISIS.
The official spokesman for Kirkuk Governorate, Marwan Al-Ani, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "With relentless and continuous efforts by the governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, a new batch of names of those affected by (500) names was approved by the Central Committee and the Compensation Sub-Committee for the role and property after the Ministry of Finance allocated the cash for exchange purposes.
Al-Ani called on "those included in the compensation to review the governorate office to receive the checks, which will be distributed in the form of meals at the rate of (100) names per week, until all those affected receive their financial entitlements."
