Minister of Health: The Ministry adheres to the government program

The Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, confirmed Friday that the ministry adheres to the plan of the government program.

A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, "The Minister of Health, Saleh Al-Hasnawi, chaired an expanded meeting during his visit to the medical unions, health professions, and pharmacists, in the presence of the heads and members of the unions in Baghdad."

 Al-Hasnawi explained that "the Ministry of Health is determined to develop and improve the health system in Iraq," adding that "they are the matters that have been studied and discussed and that need continuous follow-up in order to improve health services."

 He pointed out that the ministry is adhering to the plan of the government program and is seeking to achieve its goals, and various other axes were discussed during the meeting.

 For their part, the heads and members of the unions and those present thanked the minister for his support, presence and listening to all the proposals, while they stressed the need for continuous communication and cooperation to serve the public interest.
