Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faik Jabro confirmed on Monday, that the government pays great attention to the file of the displaced and the camps, which is one of the most important paragraphs of the government program.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "Minister of Migration and Displacement, Evan Faiq Jabro, received today Ville Varjola, the European Union Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq, and his accompanying delegation, at the ministry's headquarters in the capital, Baghdad."
Jabro confirmed, according to the statement, that "the government attaches great importance to returning the displaced to their areas of residence, through the support of the Ministry of Immigration and the Reconstruction of Destroyed Cities.”
For his part, Varjola praised "the role of the ministry and the efforts it made in the file of the displaced and providing the best for them," stressing "the European Union's determination to continue working together with the ministry to solve all their problems."
