Iraqi warplanes destroy a hideout for ISIS gangs, east of Lake Hamrin

The Security Media Cell(SMC) announced on Thursday,  the destruction of an important hideout for ISIS terrorist gangs, east of Lake Hamrin, within the Diyala Operations Command sector.

SMC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "According to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and in continuation of the opposing approach, and to complement the efforts of our security forces in pursuing criminal ISIS gangs and terrorist groups and clearing the lands from their defilement, the Military Intelligence Directorate was able to make full use of the technical resources and follow-up of the cell, targeting in the Joint Operations Command, from monitoring the movements of ISIS terrorist gangs in an important den located east of Lake Hamrin within the sector of the Diyala Operations Command."

"Szna Caravan's planes destroyed this important den, the statement added.
