The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul, announced today, Sunday, the killing of a terrorist and wounding another during an ambush in the Riyadh district of Kirkuk.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Rasoul said, "The federal police heroes were able to kill a terrorist and wound another during a tight ambush by the 2nd Brigade, the Mechanized Division, in the village of "Ali Al-Sultan" in the Riyadh district of Kirkuk."
"The operation was carried out in partnership with intelligence detachments that monitored the movements of one of the terrorists, who is still being searched for." According to the statement.
