The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday, the destruction of nearly 6 tons of narcotic substances.
Health Minister Salih al-Hasnawi said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “5.9 tons of various drugs were destroyed."
He clarified, "54 pills and 31,000 ampoules were destroyed, as well as 9,000 vials of anesthetic."
