Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan revealed, today, Wednesday, an international consensus on 4 items related to Syria.
Fidan said in a press statement: "His visit to Syria was preceded by a diplomatic tour at the international level that lasted about 11 days, to determine the demands of the international community from the new Syrian administration."
He stressed that "the international community agreed on four items related to Syria: that Syria does not pose a threat to its neighbors; that it does not in any way serve as a haven for terrorism; that the rights of minorities and the security of their lives and property are guaranteed and that they are not subjected to mistreatment; and that the unity and integrity of Syrian territory are preserved.
" He added that "Turkey proposed (to the international community) in this context, a discourse acceptable to all, whether from a moral, rational or legal perspective, and this discourse was generally accepted."
He pointed out that they conveyed the aspirations of regional actors and the international community in this regard to Al-Sharaa, who expressed his approval and did not object to them.
