The Army and PMF find 24 booby traps left by Daesh in Kirkuk

    A joint security force from the army and the Popular Mobilization Forces PMF found on Sunday, 24 booby traps left by the terrorist Daesh prepared for detonation in the Fakkat Nader area within the Kirkuk Operations Command and eastern Tigris section.
     
    "A joint security force consisting of personnel from the Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Forces PMF carried out an inspection operation according to intelligence information in the Fakkat Nader area within the Kirkuk Operations Command and East Tigris section," said a statement by the PMF received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "The security operation resulted in the discovery of a stockpile of equipment left over from Daesh terror group, in addition to the discovery of 24 booby traps filled with explosive materials, which were safely detonated," the statement said.
