The Arab League condemns the bombing of Kurdistan

    The Arab League denounced today, Tuesday, the Iranian bombing of Iraqi lands in the Kurdistan region, while confirming its support for all the Iraqi government's measures.
     
    A spokesman for the League of Arab States Jamal Rushdi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "We condemn the renewed Iranian bombing of several areas in the Kurdistan region, which resulted in   a number of martyrs and wounded," noting that " Iran's continuation of this unacceptable breach and its continued violations of Iraqi sovereignty, it indicates a persistent lack of respect for international law and the principles of good neighborliness." 
     
    Rushdi added, "This Iranian act not only a blatant encroachment on Iraq's sovereignty and lands, but also destabilizes the security and stability of the entire region, and undermines efforts to build confidence and reduce tensions in the region," Explained that "Tehran seeks to blame others and hold them responsible for its internal crises, which is unacceptable."
     
     "The threats and accusations launched against Arab countries in this context are unacceptable and denounced, in addition to its lack of any basis in reality," pointing out that "the Arab countries do not interfere in the internal affairs of their neighbors, and they expect reciprocity from them." According to the statement.
     
    Rushdi renewed "the Arab League's support for all measures taken by the Iraqi government in order to preserve Iraq's sovereignty and to address all regional violations targeting its security and stability."
