Al-Sudani: The heads of federations and unions will serve as advisors to the government

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani announced the initiation of the establishment of the Higher Committee for Coordination between the Council of Ministers, federations and unions.

A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Al-Sudani met with a number of captains, heads and representatives of professional and sectoral federations and unions, and listened to a presentation from the audience about all aspects of the reality of union professional work, and the problems and obstacles facing this vital sector in its various aspects. ".

In a speech at the beginning of the meeting, Al-Sudani affirmed that he "is determined to establish the Higher Committee for Coordination between the Council of Ministers and federations and unions established in accordance with the law, with what they represent of houses of expertise in various disciplines."

PM also indicated that "the heads of federations and unions will serve as advisors to the government in implementing its ministerial curriculum and vision in various fields, foremost of which are the service sectors."

For their part, the heads of federations and unions expressed their support for the policies of the new government, stressing that the meeting of Mr. Al-Sudani with them on the first days of his government is evidence of the serious intention to find a partnership relationship between them and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
