Russian Army: 30,000 soldiers transferred from Kherson to Dnieper

    The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed today, Friday, the transfer of 30,000 soldiers from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnieper River, which Ukraine considered an official withdrawal from the city, at a time when it confirmed the deployment of its forces there.

    "More than 30,000 Russian military personnel and about 5,000 pieces of weapons and military equipment, as well as material property, have been transferred to the left bank of the Dnieper River," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

    Meanwhile, the Ukrainian intelligence service confirmed that the army forces entered Kherson and the city returned to the control of Kyiv.
