The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, stressed today, Monday, that climate change has become a global threat.
Rashid said, in a tweet on his Twitter account, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "climate change has become a global threat, and our country is one of the countries most affected by climate change and its repercussions of drought, desertification and water scarcity."
He added, "We will work with our partners and friends at the Climate Summit to address environmental problems and restore life to our rivers, farms and woods for the sake of future generations."
