New cooperation protocol signed to support renewable energy development in Iraq

    The Ministry of Electricity confirmed on Friday, the government’s keenness to develop the energy file, while it revealed the signing a protocol of cooperation with Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy regarding 4 files.
     
    the spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Musa, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " Ministry of Electricity, within the framework of the National Initiative for Energy Support, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, signed with the Baghdad Center for Renewable Energy, a cooperation protocol that provides the training of media personnel and the dissemination of media and educational messages, and holding workshops on ways to support energy and combating desertification, drought and water pollution.”
     
    Musa added that “Baghdad Center is a basic and essential supporter that motivates relying on renewable solar energies." 
    He pointed out that Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani pays great attention to developing the electricity file to lift the burden on citizens.
