The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, received a phone call from the President of Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani.
The Prime Minister's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani received a phone call from the President of Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, to congratulate him on the occasion of his assumption of the duties of the presidency of the Council of Ministers and gaining of the new government's confidence in the House of Representatives."
