9 terrorists arrested in Diyala, one of whom detonated a religious shrine: INSS

The Iraqi National Security Service INSS announced on Sunday the arrest of 9 terrorists in Diyala, one of whom detonated a religious shrine.

INSS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the detachments of Service and based on judicial warrants were able to arrest 9 terrorists in various areas of Diyala province, including a prominent leader who participated in a number of terrorist operations, including the bombing of one of the religious shrines in the province."

"The statements of the accused have been duly recorded and referred to the competent judicial authorities to take fair action against them," the statement said.
