Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced on Saturday, the arrest of 26 terrorists in the provinces of Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Anbar.
"Based on accurate intelligence, and according to judicial arrest warrants, INSS in Anbar province arrested 12 terrorists involved in targeting security forces and civilians in various cities of the province,"INSS said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "Our detachments in Kirkuk set up a tight ambush and were able to capture a terrorist network consisting of 7 members, and arrest them," noting that "the terrorists were providing logistical support to ISIS terrorist gangs in separate areas of the province."
The statement continued, "In areas south of Salah al-Din, INSS detachments were able to arrest 7 terrorists after following their movements and whereabouts, to be arrested one by one."
"All the terrorists have been referred to the judicial authorities to take the legal measures against them,” the statement mentioned.
