Kurdistan Democratic Party decided Thursday to give its votes to the presidential candidate, Abdul Latif Rashid.
The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the Kurdistan Democratic bloc in the parliament decided to give its votes to the candidate for the presidency, Abdul Latif Rashid."
Today, Parliament is scheduled to hold a special session to elect the President of the Republic.
The Media Department of the parliament announced, earlier today, Thursday, the agenda for today's parliament session.
According to a document obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "the agenda of session No. (6) includes the election of the President of the Republic."
It added, "The session will start at eleven o'clock in the afternoon."
