Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani begins an official visit to the United Kingdom this afternoon.
Media Office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani begins an official visit to the United Kingdom this afternoon, Monday, in response to an official invitation from the British Prime Minister.
The statement read “During the visit, he will hold a series of meetings, including His Majesty King Charles III and a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as well as discussions with senior British government officials. The visit will also include meetings with representatives of companies and business sectors, alongside seminars and dialogues with specialized research centers.”
It also said “This visit aims to enhance cooperation between Iraq and the United Kingdom, with the agenda including the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields, particularly in economic, investment, and security sectors.”
The statement further said that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani is accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising ministers, members of parliament, the Governor of Basra, advisors, representatives from the private sector, and business leaders and industrialists from various economic sectors.”
